As I sit here this gorgeous sunny Sunday evening, I look around me and hear the sound of music, kids laughing, grown-ups talking, veggie tale shows, babies sweet giggles, friends talking of their favorite things; all this, I think of how happy everyone seems. The house is full. Food lies on the table. A laugh escapes. And everyone's having fun! What does that speak? What does that tell you?
When I see everyone so happy, it brings a smile to my face. I love seeing cheerful dispositions. I love watching kids play. I love hearing jokes come out of someone's mouth, then hearing the whole house rupture into laughter.
It speaks to my heart. Everyone is happy rejoicing in the beauty of miraculousness of this world God did so graciously give us. That is how life should be. We should always be cheerful giving God praise for all his wonderful love. He has given so much, why be sad?
God died on the cross for our sins. He went through SO much so that we,( did you hear me?)So that WE could have life. What better love do we have than that? He gave so much-- and we can never repay the debt we owe. It's too ginormous.
But we have our life to show our love for our God. To praise him. Serve him. And simply sing his name to this world, declare his wonderful works! We need to live our life like we have never lived before! To be happy in his love.
When you think about it, he has given us SOO much! Joy, life, happiness! All of that to rejoice in! But even without happiness, I am content in the love of God... For he is our true joy! <3
Thank you Lord for the life you have given me. We may have many trials, but you are always in control, and help us through every tribulation. You are our true joy. You give us strength. For we know that "All things work together for good to those that love you." Thank you, Oh Lord, for my life. The love you have given me and the joy that surrounds me. May we always praise your name forever more!
*smiles* Always thank God for the life you are living. Always be happy. Always rejoice in those wonderful things. Keep serving God, and hold fast to his love. :)
