Walking in the way of our LORD.

The day was simply beautiful; The sun was shining, the sky was blue, flowers were blooming, laughter was echoing through the trees, children were playing-- all around us there was love!

On that particular beautiful day, me and Liberty set off for a walk.  It was the perfect day for it, and with hearts merry, and spirits gay-- the walk started.  Nothing could of fit it more perfectly.  The air smelled of Spring, and covering the ground was the prettiest little things that shows a hint that Spring is here. Flowers.
Ants were crawling out of their nests-- building time again.  Bees were buzzing in search for honey.  Birds were singing-- in search for their soul mate( or food for their families.)  What could of been more perfect?

Then all the sudden the flowers start fading behind you. The ants give you a bite. The bee gives you a sting.  The birds stop their singing.  Then you stumble over a rock.  And love no longer seems to surround you. What happened?

When such a walk (As the first one)is in place, its been given to us by the LORD.  We are walking on the path of his love-- the straight path to a better life.  We are walking in his love and on our adventure for the right way of life.  We are walking in his will, going on with life as if its easy. Everything seems easy, with nothing in our way.

But all the sudden, there comes a bend in the road. And in that bend is a rock in your path that makes you stumble.  You somehow lost your way. You feel lost.

What happened to the beauty? The love? The gay spirits? The easy life?

That path was also given to you by the LORD.  God never promised us a perfect life. Matter a fact, the Bible even says that life wasn't meant to be easy.  All of life is a roller coaster. One day you feel as if you have no care in all the world. The next day you feel as if you lost your closest friend.

But everyday is a gift from God-- surrounded by his love. When you stumbled, he caught you. When you hurt, he took your pain. When you were sad, he comforted you.  He was with you the whole way, and always will be.

Why then would God give such a terrible day? Why would God cause you to stumble and turn the wrong direction if he could of prevented it?

In words that can best describe: Every day is in God's hands.  If life was all easy we would grow bored.  Remember the days you feel so down cast, where everything seems to of turned against you? But then all the sudden the wonderful days were yet before you once again.  It surprised you, and it made you the happiest person... everything seemed to go your way. And come to find out, through those rough days, God used them to lead you closer to him, while at the same time; he full-filled your deepest wish.

THAT is the reason for the rough days. The tears. The rocky path.  Because it was given to you from the Lord. He was able to move you closer to him. He even full-filled your wish through it. And not to mention; he made you happier by it!

The Lord has a purpose for all. Whether through good and enchanting days. Or through bad and rough days. God is there with you. He is ready to catch you when you stumble. He is ready  to give you a helping hand and help bare your burdens.  Every path you walk upon is a path of love from God.  He has a purpose for you.

And when you stumble, God will always be sure to catch you, pick you back up-- and lead you back down the easy path of life through him...

Amen! So true. And once we go through it, we see why it happened.

Oh, Grace, thank you! You have no idea how much these posts of yours help your readers as they read them! Again, you are such a role model for me; the way you follow the Lord in all you do and strive to serve Him-how understanding you are when things go wrong, and how willing to lean on Him-knowing you has truly challenged me to take my walk with the Lord up to higher standards, and to trust in Him more. Thank you, dear! I love you so much!
Blessings,
Amy
