When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it. "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
~In God's Arms~I sn't it wonderful to know that God is with us all the way? In the Bible God says "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." When I first read the story above, I found it so touching, and beautiful. But most of all; it was very true. And *is* very true in all of our lives. Even when troubles arise God is there to give us a helping hand. He is there to guide us to the next path.
When we feel lost, or when trials arise, we feel so abandoned...but we are not. God is always there, and always will be there to carry us down the path of life...

Grace,
I am always so touched when I read that story, and its truthfulness it so sharply illustrated in our lives. I know my life would be miserable without the Lord there with me. Indeed, I would not exist!
Without the security in God, all our lives would be most miserable; it is worth thanking Him every day, just for holding our hands!
Have a blessed day, dear Grace.

Yes, isn't it a wonderful story? I loved it! And you are totally right, without God we would be nothing-- we *are* nothing without him! God has blessed us by sending his son to die on the cross for our sins so that we may have life and live it for HIS glory! We truly have much to be thankful for!
Thanks you! And a wonderfully blessed day to you as well!
