A Review Of Sir Rowen.
Sir Rowan and the Camerian Conquest was yet another great book by Chuck Black. Its filled with exciting adventure, loyalty to the King, and the duty between good and evil. Sir Rowan was but a lad when he was taught the duty of the Prince. He grew up learning the skill of the sword but instead of using his skill wisely, he went after fame and the longing of a hero and for the cheers of the people. Never did he know that he was going in the wrong direction until he was attacked and almost put to death. From that day forward he swore that if he lived he would honor the king and his code. Rowan was saved from a fair maiden that he married and grew to love with his whole heart. Never did he know that one day he would lose the woman of his dreams, but the time did come and he mourned her death more than anything. But Rowan didn't give up hope. He continued fighting, even harder than he had before! Sir Rowan fought hard, and died a victorious death. But that wasn't the end of this mighty Sir Rowan because he was not dead; Instead he lived only to be with the King, one whom he had fought for with all his being. So on he lived, was reunited with his wife, and lived for eternity afterwards with the man he had fought hard for, and that man was The Prince... and the honor of the code!

A beautiful snow morning.
Guess what y'all?!? At around 11.00 Christmas night it started snowing, and it actually stuck. Well, sorta. As you can tell its not a load of snow that you've ever seen, and it didn't even stick for as long as one would like it to, but it was STILL snow! That night right before Christmas day was about over it started snowing and stayed until Sunday mid-morning. Amazing huh? Well, maybe not for those who get snow every year, but around Georgia it has to take a miracle in order to get what we did. But, God created a miracle that Christmas night, because it wasn't supposed to snow. Weather channels was saying that it wasn't supposed to, UNTIL the time came.
So, I got my Snow white Christmas! Its amazing how the smallest things can work out in your favor. God just saw fit to give us a little snow this year-- and I'm loving it! It has melted, and the only thing that can prove the snow was here is by remembrance. But I'm thankful. Just the tiniest things can make me happy, and seeing the snow fall from the sky made me more than just a little happy! Thank you Lord for your goodness!
But God is always miraculous, and even in the smallest things we should always wait on his perfect timing. Have you ever wanted something so bad, but you knew you had to wait on God's timing, so you waited. Waited some more. And waited even some more. But, then you got tired of waiting cause it was getting too late. You thought that there was no way it could ever happen now, I mean, its just way too late. BUT, only to find out you get it later than you expected. Then you start wondering why in the world you doubted. Well, everyone doubts once in awhile, its sometimes hard not to. But we must always remember that God's timing is perfect. There are specific things that you have to wait longer than you bargained for. And truly, you'll find out that it was all for the best, and was the best time of day to receive your answered prayer. Always wait on the Lord with all the belief that you can, and you'll find everything is worked out in due time.
Well, Christmas is already over. Can you believe it? I sure can't. It seems that in the summer we thought it would never get here. A couple of weeks we thought it would never get here. But now its over with. Now how did that happen? But we all had a very Merry Christmas, and it truly was one to always remember! There was much fun, many joy tidings, and many happy people.
I hope everyone else had a Merry Christmas as well, and if you like come and share your Christmas day with me. Tell me all you did, and how much fun you had! I'd love to hear about it, and if you are anything like me, you'll be dying to tell anybody you can about it. ;)
Now on to the New year...

Merry Christmas!
Well, I am finally done with my Christmas gifts, and even done with wrapping them! I feel so good I could almost fly... well, not literally, but I sure would like too! As everyone knows, we only have 3 days until Christmas. In the summer we thought it would never get here, now we only have three days left? What has happened? Time sure has flew by fast this year, but I must say its been a very good year! (Which makes me very happy.) God truly blesses all of those that follow after him, in every area. In every way. He is good to each and everyone of us-- way beyond what we deserve! So this Christmas and every Christmas we should always be putting God first, reading the birth story of Jesus Christ who was born in a manger and always knowing that Christmas is all about him; Not us.
Like I said above, all of my Christmas gifts are done, so I am ready for Christmas. Come tomorow, which is Thursday we shall be getting together with my Aunt and her family and shall have a joyful time, with a hearty meal, there shall be exchanging of gifts, and celebrating in the birth of our Lord.
Friday, Christmas Eve, we shall be doing our family Christmas. There will be singing, reading the birth of Christ, snacking, eating, and then the big show of opening all of the BUNCH of presents that are under the tree. This shall be Liberty's second Christmas, but this year it shall be different because she is old enough to want to open the presents herself. Already she goes to all of the presents wishing to open every single one, but of course that is not permissive right now. So just imagine the joy on her face when she gets to open all of her presents! That is what I love about Christmas! The joy of giving makes a person feel so very light and thankful! Knowing that you just made a person happy makes ME feel happy myself!
So the busyness of it all I may not be able to get on my blog come Christmas, so I want to wish you all a Merry, Merry Christmas! May it bring you all the joy in all the world, and may it be the best Christmas that you have ever experienced! May God bless you all this Christmas, and don't anyone ever forget the true meaning of every Christmas!!

Hustle And Bustle.
Its the Holidays, so must I say more? Come Christmas Wal-mart is crowded. Well, really, everywhere is crowded. It would not even seem like Christmas if everyone wasn't out doing their Christmas shopping, sending out packages, etc. So Christmas time is definitely a hustle and bustle..
Saturday I felt in the mood of sending out Christmas cards. So, for the first time in all my life this year made my very own Christmas cards to send out to the dearest of my friends. It was so much fun. Some I did and re-did(and I can add another re-did to the list. *cheesy grin*), but I got them done. I have always loved making cards, they are tremendously fun! Home-made cards are my favorite, so that is what I did. I made cards practically the whole day. (That is after the cleaning was done and out of the way.) So really, that doesn't make it an all day process. But it seemed like all day. =P It was so fun making them, now I cannot wait until Christmas time next year so I can hopefully even send out more than I did this year. Monday I was able to get them sent out, so I'm excited! I know how much *I* love receiving cards in the mail, I know others must as well. And if they love it as much as I do, oh how I wish I could see their face's while reading opening it.
*grunts* Then again, I'd be kinda scared. =P I have miserable handwriting, so I actually wouldn't want to see eyes squinted in order to read what I have to say. BUT, if you ask me its not the handwriting that counts, its the giving. If I had the money I would send every single one of my friends a gifts-- something they have always dreamed of. But the joy of Christmas is giving. I love to give. You here that? L.O.V.E giving! Sure its great fun getting presents, I totally agree, cause believe me, I love gifts. But what counts is the gifts itself. When I imagine the look on everyone's face when they go to open their gifts.. isn't that just way better than receiving a gift yourself? You just gave someone joy from your heart--just made someone happy with the gift that you bestowed upon them. Without expecting anything in return. A person does not deserve a present if the only thing they care about is receiving, and wishing for something them-self rather than making another happy.
So what type of person are you going to be this year? Are you going to be one that would rather receive a gift greedily, or are you going to be one that loves to give the gift better than receiving all others? Just think about it. And truly, you'll find that you can get something you want easier with a cheerful heart and by giving to others than you can by wanting something beyond your expectation. Its always better to give than to receive, and lets not ever, EVER forget that.
This year as I have mention before I made all of my gifts. I'd give anything to have enough money to buy for those who are yearning for something they have always wanted, but there is nothing like the joy of giving, and at least knowing that I am giving... making those around me most happy!
Yesterday I went Christmas shopping with Mom. (And you can add Grocery shopping to the list.) As usual, the place was exceedingly crowded. Exceedingly. I walked around the entire store, and it was rare that and Isle at least had ONE person in it. That day I was able to send out my cards and a Christmas package. I was so excited knowing that in just a few days they shall be received...
Today my, my siblings and Mother all got together and started baking a whole load of cookies. Fun right? Baking is always great fun... but Christmas baking? Mmmm. Mmmm. Being able to decorate them up both red and green. Sprinkled with beautiful colors, etc. Want a sneak peak into what we made? If you all are hungry I advise you not to look, for you might discover that afterward you are even hungrier than you were before. ;)
The cookies above are quite yummy! As you can tell they have yet to be cooked in the picture above, but sorry, forgot to take a picture of them cooked. *silly laugh*
Next, *mouth waters*, as you can tell are chocolate covered pretzels. Don't you all just love those things? Chocolate covered pretzels, quite heavenly. ;)
Next is a mixture of both cheerios, Reece's and pretzel pieces coated with white chocolate. If you ask me, ANYTHING you dip in white chocolate is bound to be good. And... it is. ;D
I've been quite busy with Christmas items of late, haven't I? And I'm not finished. I have practically finished Christmas gifts, unless of course I end up thinking up something else to make. Then tomorrow I shall hopefully be starting my wrapping. There is nothing like wrapping gifts and listening to music, am I right? So that is my next "to-do" and I shall practically be done with everything and then, it shall be Christmas! *gasp*

LET IT SNOW!
"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"
Snow glistening in the trees-- how lovely! But no, sadly it has not snowed here yet.. sure, the picture above could fool a person, but that is where Picasa comes in handy. Seriously though, this year I am hoping it snows. I'm so used to snow, that it never does seem like Christmas without it. (sadly.) Last year it snowed, we were able to go out and *play*, and just have a wonderful time! It so reminded me of the wonderful times spent back in my Childhood come, Indiana! Where every year we would get LOADS of snow throughout the whole winter. There would be snowball fights, snowmen to build, and sledding. *gasp* What fun! I told Mom the other day that I am definitely going to go for a sleigh ride sometime in my life. Oh boy would that be fun!!
This year I hope it snows like it did last year, only it wouldn't hurt if we had just a little bit more than last time so we could actually build a real snowman. ;) Snow doesn't only bring on good memories...
But, also I simply L.O.V.E the look of snow! Isn't it just beautiful? It makes everything look so magnificent, and makes the Christmas seem so jolly! So this year I am hoping for lots of snow come Christmas! So as I wait, I shall keep singing over and over again "Let it snow, let it snow, let it SNOW"!

A Knightly Review
Sir Quinlan and the Swords of Valor was a great read, in my opinion. The book was written by Chuck Black, who is a very good author. I love all of his work, and have read many of his books including The Kingdom Series. They are always so full of stories representing truths found in the Bible. He has a way of writing that keeps his readers interested from the very start. Sir Quinlan and the Swords of Valor was full of adventure and Sir Quinlan’s duty to follow after the Prince in every particular way. Sir Quinlan was brought up with his dear friend but had to sacrifice his friendship in order to follow the Prince. He set out without knowing much of what he would have to face or what would come about, but he moved with trust, just like we should do in our walk with Christ. He ended up failing his Uncle, but the Prince was not done with him yet. The Prince still had many plans for Quinlan. Quinlan became commander in the war and conquered back what the evil had taken away. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Chuck Black’s books, and enjoys a good adventure involving knights and loyalty.
I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.

The true meaning of Christmas.
Isn't it amazing how fast time flies? Last I knew it I was enjoying the time off of School for my Summer Break. Now, everything is dying, the weather is turning cold, and everyone is putting up their Christmas decorations. What happened?
But don't you just love going out at night and seeing all the beautiful colors of lights, and the many decorations surrounding ones place? We have never been one to decorate the outside of our house(which, if you would of left me in charge, things would probably of been different.).
Christmas is probably a lot of peoples favorite holiday. Why? To tell you the truth, I don't exactly know why. Maybe it was because there was no School, everyone was so cheerful, snow would be falling, and to top that all off, there would be presents.
But is that the real reason of Christmas? No, I don't believe that it is. Actually, I know it is not. Sure, its great to get excited, and to enjoy all of the above, but we are not to get caught up in it all and forget the real purpose of Christmas.
And what is that? It is the birth of Christ. Jesus wasn't really born in December. To tell you the truth, no one exactly knows when Jesus was born. But the very first time Jesus's birth was celebrated was on December 25. From then until now it has always been celebrated on that day.
Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ, not to celebrate some fake Santa. Christmas is now about Santa, getting presents, time off of School, or fun. It is a time to Celebrate the birth of Christ.
Everyone forget the real meaning of Christmas. The Bible says that it is better to "give than it is to receive." I just love the joy of giving. To me the joy on the receivers faces is worth much more than a gift of my own.
Also, why does it seem that every Christmas everyone is so merry and gay? To tell you the truth, I get mightily merry when Christmas comes around as well. And I agree that everyone should be very merry, but why can't every year round be merry? We are to always be merry through life for all that God has given us. Everyday is a blessing, and it is not just supposed to be the holidays that bring about the merriment. Its supposed to be throughout every day, in every-way, because it is yet another day granted.
But lets always, always, always remember the true meaning of Christmas and what it truly signifies. Lets not get caught up in life's merriment and forget what we are truly supposed to be celebrating. Lets remember this Christmas that it is all about him and what he does. Its now about us and what we want. Its about Jesus Christ, and all that he is. So never forget who Christmas is really about, and have a merry good Christmas!
JOY TO THE WORLD!
